These Rather Strange Stories were created to provide practice in word groups at the Intermediate level in Signing Exact English. The word groups were established by topic, and the stories created to use all the words in a given word group in the shortest story possible . . . which is why they are Rather Strange Stories at times!

These stories may be used for expressive and receptive practice. Vocabulary review with Esther Zawolkow, co-author of SEE, precedes each story. The stories are done by various teachers and interpreters knowledgeable with the SEE system. A booklet containing the vocabulary, the script and suggestions for use are included with each videotape.
